Weekly Shabbat Groups
Ages 0-3 @ CBI loft space
Babies and toddlers are invited to enjoy this playspace with their caregivers. Enjoy snacks and a parent-led tot Shabbat circle starting around 10:40 AM.
Age 3 years – 2nd grade @ Gan Shalom
Kids aged 3 through 2nd grade can be dropped off at Gan Shalom starting at 9:00 AM on Shabbat mornings. Around 10:00 AM they are served a hardy snack and then split into groups for games, parshah, and stories. Children are also served a light lunch and can be picked up from Gan Shalom after services. Childcare ends at noon.
3rd – 5th grade @ Gan Shalom
3rd through 5th graders meet our amazing banot sherut, Naama Shitrit and Rachel Kessner, in front of Gan Shalom at 10:00 AM. Following a picnic snack, they head upstairs at Gan Shalom for parshah and games.
Tot Shabbat Dinner and Lunches
Join us for kids-focused Shabbat meals. Tot shabbat meals feature kid friendly food, activities, and community geared towards families with kids ages 2-10.
Tot Shabbat kabbalat Shabbat and Friday night dinner will take place on December 7 and February 15. Stay tuned for more dates throughout the year!
Mishmash
Mishmash offers CBI’s parents and children in grades K through 8th an opportunity to study in pairs in a beit midrash atmosphere. Come for the Torah, stay for the pizza!

Bar & Bat Mitzvah Club
CBI’s Bar and Bat Mitzvah Clubs foster community for sixth and seventh graders, and welcome them into relationship with Torah and mitzvot. Sixth and seventh grade girls will meet with Rabbanit Wolkenfeld, while sixth and seventh grade boys meet with Rabbi Cohen. Both groups will meet six times throughout the year for Shabbat lunch and learning on topics like prayer, the age of Jewish adulthood, and holidays.

Teen Minyan
Led and attended by CBI’s teens, and directed by Maytal Bach, the teen Minyan will meet upstairs at Gan Shalom monthly on the first Shabbat of the month. Teen participants are encouraged to daven Pesukei D’Zimra and Shacharit with the main congregation. The teen minyan convenes for Torah reading and musaf starting at 10:00 AM. Following davening, teens will enjoy learning and their own kiddush.
